About Vale Craft Gallery:
Located in the heart of Chicago's vibrant River North gallery district, Vale Craft Gallery exhibits and sells contemporary American fine craft and sculpture including works in clay, fiber, metal, glass, wood and mixed media. Since 1992, gallery owner Peter Vale has shown an eclectic and affordable collection of decorative, functional, and sculptural artwork by both local and national artists. Vale Craft Gallery features colorful textiles, beautiful glass objects, handcrafted furniture, innovative ceramics, whimsical sculpture, and unique jewelry. |

This Saturday, February 6th Vale Craft
Gallery will be part of a four gallery tour
of the River North Area of Chicago. We'd
love to see you there! The tour starts at
11am, and it will run to about 12:30 pm.

Please join us at Vale Craft
Gallery (230 W. Superior St.) on Friday,
January 8th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM for a
free opening reception to
celebrate our Winter Group Show of Fine Craft.
The ongoing exhibition
will include works in glass, clay, fiber, metal,
wood, and mixed
media by contemporary American artists. The show
will continue
through April 10th.
Among the new work on display will be: Kent
Williams' bold, geometric
art quilts; Eric Slawson's abstract, hand-formed
glass sculptures;
Alan Carter's turned wood sculptural vessels;
and Richard Parrish's
fused glass panels inspired by textile patterns.
Vale Craft Gallery is located at 230 West
Superior Street (building
entrance on Franklin) in Chicago's River North
gallery district.
Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday
from 10:30 to 5:30
and Saturday from 11:00 to 5:00. If you are not
